Just Saying....

Isn't it amazing how kid's Christian adventure stories, like Adventures in Odyssey, still "speak" to you even when you're a grown up? The lessons we learn as children often times need a refresher course later in life. Maybe that's why the Lord gives us children...so we don't lose sight of the most important things. For example, how many times has your child been in a fight with one of his or her playmates - then only a short few minutes passes and their best pals again. Child-like! Even a child knows its not worth it to get mad, hold a grudge, and get bitter. I think the Lord is constantly showing us these little truths and sometimes we don't even recognize it as adults. We "mature" and all too often become filled with fear, find it hard to trust, and we even build walls. Doesn't the Bible say something about coming as little children? Maybe our problems and situations don't really change that much when we're adults...we just make them look bigger and scarier.
